IMPORTANT: Migration to Steam

The release of Asteroid for Windows (64-bit), macOS (arriving in 2023) and Linux (64-bit) will only take place on Steam and no longer on "itch.io".

The Asteroid Steam Shop page will be available in the next few days.

There are numerous reasons behind this choice:

- Steam is the first gaming platform for PC, therefore it is convenient from several points of view.

- Game updates: it will no longer be necessary to go to the official Asteroid page on itch.io to download the latest version and install it from a setup file, but just check for updates directly from the Steam client. Many times the process is carried out automatically to ensure greater ease of service.

- Steam Auto-Cloud API saves: The software fully supports Steam's Auto-Cloud API, this means your progress will be synced to your Steam account and can be accessed from any supported device.

- New platform: Steam Deck. Thanks to the arrival of Asteroid on Steam, we are able to guarantee support for Steam Deck right from the launch with native controls.

- Steam Remote Play: Thanks to this service, you will be able to play Asteroid in streaming from your device with the Steam Link application by connecting to your PC. You will be able to play from your Android, iOS, iPadOS and other devices that support Steam Remote Play and Steam Link. The service is still in an experimental phase, therefore malfunctions may occur.

Despite this change, the official Asteroid page on itch.io will still remain active.

We will continue to post game news and updates both here and on the Steam page.

We will keep both communities.

At the end of the countdown on itch.io, we will insert a button and a widget within the official Asteroid page to refer to the Steam Store page in order to download the game.

We hope you can't wait to play Asteroid!

because if it was made in scratch, it's very impressive!

It's made with TurboWarp! :)

The mod? Same, I'm also making a Steam game with Turbowarp! I saw your post on the Turbowarp packager github, and just wanted to say I do hope you manage to use Greenworks and get your achievements working!

Thank you! :)
